SMS Opt-In Disclosure

Overview

Take the Leads is a lead management platform for service contractors. We offer optional SMS notifications to alert users about new leads and important account updates. SMS consent is collected during account registration and can also be managed in account settings at any time.

How We Collect SMS Consent

SMS consent is collected through two methods:

1. Account Registration

During account signup, users are presented with an optional SMS consent checkbox. The checkbox is unchecked by default and is not required to create an account. The checkbox label reads:

“I agree to receive automated SMS notifications from Take The Leads. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. SMS Terms | Privacy Policy”

2. Account Settings

Users who did not opt in during registration can enable SMS notifications at any time from their account settings (Settings > Notifications). They can also disable SMS notifications from the same location.

What Messages We Send

SMS notifications include:

New lead alerts (when a new lead is received from a connected platform)
Lead status updates
Important account notifications

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. Message frequency varies based on the user’s notification preferences and lead volume.

Opt-Out Process

Users can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by:

Replying STOP to any text message received from Take the Leads
Disabling SMS notifications in account settings (Settings > Notifications)
Contacting support at support@take-the-leads.com

Upon replying STOP, the user will receive a single confirmation message and no further text messages will be sent.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates from the user’s wireless carrier may apply.

Privacy
