This Privacy Policy covers the Take the Leads website, web application, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) and describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and mobile device type.

- Lead Data: When you connect third-party platforms (such as Thumbtack, HomeAdvisor, Angi, Yelp, or others) or forward lead notification emails, we collect lead information including customer names, contact details, project descriptions, budgets, timelines, and locations. This data originates from the platforms you have chosen to connect.
- Push Notification Tokens: If you enable push notifications on the mobile app, we receive and store your device’s Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Process and manage leads from connected platforms.
- Send you notifications about new leads via email, SMS, and push notifications based on your configured preferences.
- Score and prioritize leads based on your business criteria.
- Translate lead information and messages when auto-translate is enabled.
- Process payments and manage your subscription.
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- Send administrative messages, updates, and security alerts.
- Analyze usage patterns to improve and develop the Service.

4. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

4.1 Consent and Opt-In
By checking the SMS consent checkbox during account registration, or by enabling SMS notifications in your account settings, you expressly consent to receive automated text messages from Take the Leads at the phone number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of the Service. You may use the Service without opting in to SMS notifications.
4.2 Message Frequency and Content
Message frequency varies based on your notification preferences and lead volume. Messages may include new lead alerts, lead status updates, and important account notifications. We will not send marketing or promotional text messages.
4.3 Opt-Out
You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation message: “You have been unsubscribed from Take the Leads SMS notifications. You will no longer receive text messages. Reply HELP for help or visit https://take-the-leads.com/privacy.html”
- Disabling SMS notifications in your account settings (Settings > Notifications).

4.5 Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Check with your carrier for details about your plan.
4.6 Supported Carriers
SMS delivery is supported on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4.7 Privacy
We will never sell, rent, or share your phone number or opt-in information with third parties for their marketing purposes. 5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We share data with third-party vendors who help us operate the Service, including Twilio (SMS delivery), Firebase (push notifications), Stripe (payment processing), and hosting/infrastructure providers.
- Team Members: If you are part of an organization on the platform, other team members within your organization may see lead data, notes, and activity associated with shared leads.
- Customer Communications: When you send a message or quote to a lead’s customer through the platform, your name and email may be shared with that customer as the sender.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
- With Your Consent: We may share information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Lead data is retained for the duration of your subscription and for up to 12 months after account closure to allow for potential reactivation. After this period, data is permanently deleted unless retention is required by law.

The Service is hosted and operated in the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
